This week we are discussing about comets in general,Including some interesting stuff about Comet lulin and the historical event of Jupiter and comet shoemaker-Levy9(the first direct observation of an extraterrestrial collision of solar system objects)
All in all a comet is a dirty ice-ball 🙂 and is never more than a few kilometers across.When the comet is heated,as it nears the sun,the ices in the nucleus start to evaporate,so that the comet devolopes a head or coma,which may be huge. there may be one or more tails,though many small comets never produce tails of any sort.
