වසර 400කට පෙරගැලිලියෝ ඔහුගේ දුරේක්ෂයෙන් විශ්වය නිරීක්ෂණය කලේය. එතැන්පටන් දුරේක්ෂය විවිධ වෙනස්කම් වලට භාජනය විය. මෙවර pod cast තුලින් දුරේක්ෂයේ පරිණාමය පිළිබදව අපි කරුණු කිහිපයක් සාකච්ඡා කරමු.

400 years ago Galileo pointed his home made telescope towards the sky and observed the wonders of the universe.. since then the telescope evolved from a hand held equipment with a simple lens to massive structures with optics big enough to fill a sports stadium. In this pod cast we will be presenting some facts about the evolution of telescopes and specially about ground based telescopes.

පසුගිය දිනක කගුයා යානය චන්ද්‍රයා වෙත කඩා වැටීම ලොව පුරා සියළු දෙනාගේ අවධානය යොමුවූ කරුණක් විය. මේ අවස්ථාව දැක ගැනීමට සැම දෙනෙකුටම අවශ්‍ය විය. මෙම යානයෙන් සිදුවූ කාර්යය සහ ඉන් සොයාගත් අලුත් සොයාගැනීම් ඉතා වැදගත් ය.

මේ අතර එන්ඩෙවර් ස්පේස් ෂටලය පසුගිය 13වන දින අභ්‍යවකාශගත කිරීමට යෙදී තිබුනද කාර්මික ගැටළු හේතුවෙන් කල්දැමිණි. මෙවර වැඩසටහනින් එම යානා පිළිබදව කතා කරනු ඇත.

The very recently occurred, Kaguya moon probe smashed in to moon surface event took everyone’s attention. Everyone wanted to take a glimpse of it. It’s quite interesting to take a look at what this Kaguya mission is all about and why it crashed. Meanwhile, space shuttle Endeavor mission which was to be launched on 13th, was delayed due to some issues. This pod cast presents more about what exactly happened with these two missions.
